纽约市长要没收地主房产了

纽约要大革命，这个市长发言要重新财富分配！

星期四，2019年1月10日，纽约市市长白丝毫在市政演讲中提出了财富分配的问题。

财富落在了错误的手中，他这么说。

那怎么办呢？可想而知。

好，我们来看看。

“For decades, working people have gotten more and more productive. And at the same time, they’ve gotten a smaller and smaller share of the wealth they create. Here’s the truth, brothers and sisters, there’s plenty of money in the world. Plenty of money in this city.It’s just in the wrong hands!”

他说，“数十年以来，劳动人民变得越来越有效率，但与此同时，他们得到他们所创造的财富的份额越来越小。我们来看看真相，兄弟和姐妹们，世界上有很多财富。这个城市有很多财富。只是它们落在了错误的手中”。

纽约自然有很多财富，落在了错误的手中。那么，现在掌握着大量财富的华尔街、特朗普、布隆伯格等，听到这句话，是不是会感到裤腰带突然一紧？



“This country has spent decades taking from working people and giving to the 1 percent. This city has spent the last five years doing it the other way around. We give back to working people the prosperity they have earned.”

纽约市长还这么说，“这个城市在数十年中从劳动人民那里获取，并给他们1%的回报。这个城市在过去５年中走上了另一条路。我们将劳动人民所创造的繁荣回报给他们”。

纽约市长还在发言中宣布了设立保护房客办公室（the Office of Tenant Protection），计划推动立法，对每年40个"坏房东"没收房产。Hmm，你没有看错，没收房产。。。没收私人财产的事情，大家有没有印象，如果有的话，会想起哪一些国家，那些国家曾经的做法，究竟是成功了还是失败了？不过，在简单一人一票的制度下，迎合房客显然对政客竞选获胜是有利的，毕竟，房客的人数（即票数）总是超过房东人数（即票数）的。

他是这么说的："The city's worst landlords will have a new sheriff to fear. When a landlord tries to push out a tenant by making their home unlivable, a team of inspectors and law enforcement agents will be on the ground in time to stop it. We'll use every tool we have: We'll fine the landlords, we'll penalize the landlords. But if the fines and the penalties don't cut it, we will seize their buildings and we will put them in the hands of a community nonprofit that will treat tenants with the kind of respect that they deserve."

简单翻译成中文，大意如下：

这个城市最糟糕的房东们将有一个新的让他们恐惧的治安官。当房东企图通过让房客的房子无法居住而迫使房客搬出时，一队检查人员和执法人员将会及时赶到现场组织。我们将使用我们可以用的一切工具：我们将对房东开罚单，我们将处罚房东。但如果这些罚单和处罚还没啥作用的话，我们将没收他们的建筑，将其交给一个社区的非盈利组织，该组织将以房客们应该得到的尊重对待房客们。



Hｍｍ，的确，有些房东很可恶，但是房客们就真的善良有如天使么？他们应该得到什么样的尊重呢？房客和房东的关系，早已有他们彼此之间的合同作为约束，也有早已存在的各种法规条文约束，白丝毫市长还要再来插手，甚至不惜"没收"他人财产。。。不知道最终是帮了需要住房的民众，还是让房东们在惶恐中最终退出租房市场，造就更多无家可归的人。。。

在讲话中，纽约市长还提出要将消费事务部的范围扩大到“保护工人”、为包括非法移民在内的所有纽约居民提供医疗保障等。

这位纽约市长表示，Those goals are not utopian or unreachable. They are achievable（这些目标并非乌托邦或者不可达成的。他们可以实现）。能不能呢？看看那些打着高尚无比旗帜实际上推行乌托邦的国家，最后混成了什么样，便可以知晓。
